We wanted one more time to use our credit cards,
Sat down and thought about it, prayed real hard
Decided what to do and wanted you to see,
We cut ‘em up …
and hung ‘em in our debt free tree

no more rice and beans for me, no not me
when i go to buy something I can hear Dave say
Grow up, Stupid. You gotta act your wage to be free

Now to sum up our own debt free song,
Hold on now, this won’t take long,
everything that we own, now belongs to me
because of hard work and DAVE RAMSEY there’ll be
no more payment plans for me,no not me

if we could make our dreams come true,
I know you can do it to,
so later on in life, you can live it like you choose. Debt Free.
