Dave Ramsey- The Economy Isn’t As Bad As We Think

COLORADO SPRINGS - Financial talk show host Dave Ramsey says the nation’s economy isn’t as bad as we think.
In a rare visit to Colorado Springs, Ramsey spoke to a nearly sold out crowd at the World Arena.
“Certainly, there’s some folks who are struggling and there’s a few housing pockets here and there that are hurting, by and large, the economy is not nearly as bad as chicken little and the national news is reporting,” Ramsey tells NEWSCHANNEL 13.
Ramsey says consumers are still spending money and building credit card debt when they should be saving.
“Flat screen television sales for the last Super Bowl were ten fold of what they were last year at the same time.”
Consumers, however, believe the economy is hurting, and are looking for help to make sure their money is in the right places.
“I think the economy is really going down,” consumer Ken Hush says.
Like many, Hush wants to make sure the money he has now is still available tomorrow. Other consumers, however, are looking to organize their finances for the first time.
